TokenMarket's association with this STO can include providing services such as business plan review, market conduct insights, marketing and technical insights, Token functionality, creation and distribution of Token, smart contract creation, multi-signature wallet, widgets for white label implementation, PR and marketing management with customer, social media and forum management with the Issuer, feature of the Issuer in newsletters and on the website. Each Issuer is different and the need for TokenMarket services varies - therefore sometimes not all services are provided and sometimes additional services are requested. TokenMarket receives compensation from the Issuer for the STO for the provision of the services. The exact nature of the compensation varies but TokenMarket’s contract is always solely with the Issuer and not with subscribers. Depending on project and stage of the STO TokenMarket receives a fixed fee and/or a percentage fee based on the volume of the sale. Ransu is the co-founder and CEO at TokenMarket. He was previously Head of European Operations at Urram Investments Ltd., which specialised in investing and trading of high-yield and convertible bonds.
Besides investing at Urram, Ransu also handled relationships with trading counterparties like private banks and trading desks across Europe.
Before moving to financial services, Salovaara gained extensive knowledge of online platforms by working as the Head of Content for EpicTV, a media platform owned by Finland’s largest telecom company Elisa Oyj. As well as his experience with EpicTV, Ransu also worked as the Marketing Director at UberMedia, an Idealab company in Pasadena, California. At its height, UberMedia’s Twitter apps had over 10% market share on daily tweets.
Mikko is the co-founder and CTO of TokenMarket. He has been involved in the development of cryptocurrency, blockchain and smart contract technologies since 2013, advising dozens of blockchain startups. Mikko actively engages in open source communities and speaks in conferences.
He is a co-founder of Pycon Finland, a Python programming conference. Mikko is also the former co-founder and CTO of LocalBitcoins, a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency exchange in Finland. As well as this, he is also a member of Plone Foundation, the oldest of open source non-profit foundations. Mikko holds an MSc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Oulu.
Ryan has over 15 years experience in digital advertising, big data and media businesses, leading commercial strategy, partnerships and driving sales across Europe, SE Asia and the US.
Most recently working with Experian, he led the commercial development of project ‘Ultra’ a more secure, innovative and scalable way in which Experian consumer data was made available to programmatic advertising channels and advertisers.
Teemu has nearly 20 years of experience in globally operating software and FinTech companies, leading organisations and business operations across Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas.
Before joining TokenMarket, Teemu had been working in various business leadership and operations management roles in FinTech and blockchain focused startups, and prior to these, he worked at multinational corporations such as Nokia, F-Secure and BlackBerry.
Andrew is a seasoned software and systems engineering manager with over 20 years experience working on fast moving business-critical projects.
He has experience with both startups and established organizations ie. Yahoo, WebMD in building sustainable systems and processes. Andrew holds an MFA from Tufts University.
Tom has amassed 15 years of experience in digital and traditional marketing via agency and consultation roles. Most recently working within Experian, he helped create and build their digital agency proposition with the utilisation of Experian data online.
This has allowed him to work and design marketing strategies for clients such as Barclaycard, MBNA, Argos, and several startups.
Peter is a securities lawyer with over 30 years experience in the corporate finance arena, both in the City of London and in Asia.
He was a partner with Stephenson Harwood for many years and more recently was the General Counsel for a Geneva-based multiple family office. Peter has been involved in many cross-jurisdictional transactions.
Adrian is a lawyer with 13 years experience in the media and commercial space, including roles with BBC Worldwide and more recently as Head of Legal at VCCP.
In addition, Adrian co-founded Groofi, one of the first crowdfunding platforms in Latin America and 40 Partners, a UK based production company.
Rainer is a developer with over ten years of programming experience. He has worked as a team leader in multiple software projects throughout the years, and as a dedicated member in a dozen more.
Rainer holds a BSc. in information processing sciences from the University of Oulu and is fluent in Python code language.
Nertila is the digital asset/crypto analyst at TokenMarket and has been a part of the company from the beginning. She holds a BSc in Business Administration, majoring in International Business.
She previously worked as a freelancer in several startups, including a recycling startup business and other crypto related projects. Nertila has extensive knowledge about the crypto space, focusing primarily on market research, high impact projects and qualitative data analyses.
Fredrik has a proven track record in marketing, driving sales, organizational change, and operational efficiency. Before setting up bfound.io, one of the most data-driven startups in UAE (and the region), Fredrik was the CEO of iProspect as well as MENA. MENA is a global digital performance agency that is Google’s largest client in the world with advertising spends that sum up to 1.2 Billion USD.
He has held six CEO positions and been involved in four intensive “turn-around projects” where he has acted as the interim CEO. Fredrik is a professor at Hult Business School Dubai campus.
Christian has a background in shipping in the area of international container trading and leasing in Malta and Denmark. Christian has been deeply involved in crypto asset management and trading independently since around 2017, gaining extensive experience in a short time.
Christian holds an MSc. In Economics and Business Administration from the Copenhagen Business School.
Jay is the Director of Research at TokenMarket. He has been involved in the private hedge fund business since 1998 where he has held positions such as Chief Investment Officer and CTO
He has published in the Journal of the British Blockchain Association the first scholar articles on how to value an ICO and an STO. Jay has an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
