Checking Ethereum addresses

This is an online tool to validate Ethereum addresses. It is intended for use cases where a payer needs to verify if the transaction receiver has communicated his or her address correctly. This prevents scenarios where the payment is send to mistyped, unrecoverable, Ethereum address.

About checksums

Ethereum address checksum is encoded in the upper and lower case variation of A-F hexadecimal letters in the address. If the address contains only lowercase letters it is not possible to check if it is valid or not. In this case request a checksummed address format from the source of the address.
